About The Position

Alliance Bank Central Texas is hiring a full-time Teller at its Georgetown, Texas location. The Teller supports accurate, smooth, and compliant banking service by helping customers with everyday transactions. The role is onsite and scheduled Monday through Friday, with starting pay of up to $16 per hour.

The workday includes preparing the Teller station, reviewing updates, serving customers, processing transactions with attention to detail, coordinating with teammates when questions arise, keeping records and the workspace organized, and closing and balancing the drawer at the end of the day.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• A friendly, outgoing approach to customer service.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to prove work authorization for the United States.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check; employees are subject to periodic drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Post loan payments, money orders, and GL tickets.
• Support night depository and vault reconciliation.
• Balance Teller activity daily.
• Assist with other finance-related tasks as assigned.
• Prepare the Teller station and review updates before the lobby opens.
• Greet customers and provide attentive, accurate service throughout the day.
• Keep the workspace organized and ensure records are in order.
• Close out the drawer, confirm totals, and hand off relevant notes.
