About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network at the Edina, Minnesota branch. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions. The Teller processes transactions accurately, provides a welcoming and reliable experience, learns about customers’ needs, and introduces helpful products, services, and digital tools. The role connects customers to bankers for detailed product conversations and works closely with branch teammates to support smooth daily operations and a consistent customer experience. It provides exposure to retail banking and an opportunity to build foundational banking skills, with training, coaching, and potential for long-term career growth.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships, listen to customers’ everyday financial needs, and connect them with relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, use active listening to clarify customer needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues appropriately.
Work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
