About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring a part-time Teller for its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions. The Teller accurately processes transactions while providing a welcoming and reliable experience, and serves as a primary point of contact for customers. The role builds foundational banking skills by learning about customer needs, introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools, and connecting customers with bankers for detailed product conversations. The Teller works with branch teammates to support daily operations and a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo provides training, coaching, and opportunities for career growth and mobility. The position is based at 5620 Brooklyn Center, MN 55429, and the schedule will include Saturdays. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Deliver a positive, reliable branch experience by accurately processing transactions and engaging customers with care.
Process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand everyday financial needs; connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in line with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening skills to clarify needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues as appropriate.
