About The Position

The Teller performs banking transactions for bank customers, including receiving and paying out money and completing other transactions in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner. The employer is seeking a team player interested in long-term employment and advancement opportunities. The position has a rotating schedule of 40 hours per week, with start times as early as 7:45 a.m. and workdays ending as late as 6:00 p.m. The schedule may include one to two Saturdays per month, from 7:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Requirements

• High school graduation or GED equivalent.
• Ability to work with the public.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Good computer input skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to pay strong attention to detail.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 52 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their needs.
• Process customer transactions courteously, accurately, and professionally.
• Maintain and balance a personal teller cash drawer.
• Process the buying and selling of money to and from the vault.
• Count and roll coins for customers as needed.
• Perform other job duties and projects as assigned.
