About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completing transactions while providing a welcoming and reliable experience. The Teller is a primary customer contact and represents the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The role develops foundational banking skills by learning about customers’ needs and introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools. The Teller identifies opportunities to support customers and connects them to the appropriate banker for more detailed product conversations. Working closely with branch teammates, the Teller helps daily operations run smoothly and delivers a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo describes the position as an entry point to retail banking and long-term career growth, supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is based at one of the listed Bozeman, Montana branch locations. The work schedule will include Saturdays. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process transactions and engage customers with care to deliver a positive and reliable branch experience.
Process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand everyday financial needs; connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in line with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening skills to clarify needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate complex issues for timely resolution.
