About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network at 12952 Harbor Blvd., Garden Grove, CA 92840. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processing transactions and providing a welcoming, reliable experience. The Teller is a primary point of contact for customers and represents the branch through attentive service, accuracy, and care. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping customers understand their needs and introducing relevant products, services, and digital tools. The Teller identifies opportunities to support customers and connects them with a banker for more detailed product conversations. The position works closely with branch teammates to support daily operations and a consistent customer experience, and provides exposure to retail banking with opportunities for career growth supported by Wells Fargo training, coaching, and team-based culture. Spanish is preferred. The schedule will include Saturdays. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships and listen to understand everyday financial needs.
Connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercising sound judgment and managing risk in line with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening to clarify customer needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk programs, policies, procedures, and compliance obligations; identify and escalate issues and make sound risk decisions.
