About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurate transactions, and a welcoming, reliable experience. Tellers serve as a primary point of contact, represent the branch through attentive service, and build foundational banking skills while learning about customers’ needs and introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools. They identify opportunities to support customers and connect them with a banker for detailed product conversations. The role works closely with branch teammates to support daily operations and a consistent, high-quality customer experience, and offers exposure to retail banking and opportunities for career growth supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is part-time and based at the Wells Fargo branch at 5535 E 22nd St, Tucson, Arizona. The schedule will include Saturdays. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or an appropriate team member.
Build relationships and listen actively to understand everyday financial needs; connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, ask questions to clarify needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, Wells Fargo policies and procedures, and risk escalation and remediation requirements.
