About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller for its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions. The Teller accurately processes transactions while providing a welcoming, reliable experience and representing the branch with strong service, attention to detail, and care. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping identify customer needs, introducing relevant products, services, and digital tools, and connecting customers with a banker for more detailed product conversations. The Teller works with branch teammates to support daily operations and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo provides training, coaching, and a team-based culture to support development and career mobility. The position is located at 1404 W Gray St, Houston, TX 77019. The work schedule will include Saturdays. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking methods, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and listen to customers to understand everyday financial needs; connect them with relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly and use active listening to clarify needs and provide straightforward solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; identify, escalate, and help remediate issues.
