About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network in Saint George, Utah. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurate transactions, and welcoming, reliable service. Tellers are a primary point of contact for customers and represent the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The role provides an opportunity to build foundational banking skills by learning about customers’ needs and introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools. Tellers identify opportunities to support customers and connect them to bankers for detailed product conversations. They work with branch teammates to support daily operations and provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships, listen to understand everyday financial needs, and connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in line with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, use active listening to clarify customer needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk programs, Wells Fargo policies, procedures, and compliance obligations; identify, escalate, and remediate issues as appropriate.
