About The Position
As a Teller, you assist customers with financial needs and process transactions. You provide exceptional customer service, resolve concerns, minimize risk, defend against fraud, refer product solutions, and escalate complex issues for timely resolution. You may also support nearby branch locations based on business necessity. The role requires working branch hours, which can include evenings and weekends. Frequent minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking is required. Depending on the location, occasional moving and lifting of light equipment and/or furniture may be required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of cash-handling experience.
- At least 6 months of demonstrated customer-service experience.
- Excellent customer-service skills and a passion for helping others.
- Ability to identify and escalate risk concerns through appropriate channels.
- Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
- Effective listening and communication skills.
- Comfort using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement.
- Ability to work energetically, stay organized, and multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Computer proficiency and basic math skills.
- Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship to commence employment.

- Preferred experience with Microsoft Office products.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers, minimize wait times, and assist with their banking needs.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other transactions.
- Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
- Follow bank policies and procedures, including compliance and risk-management protocols, to prevent fraud.
- Recognize opportunities to cross-sell bank products and deepen customer relationships.
- Engage customers and use digital tools to educate them about self-service options.
- Assist with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support nearby branch locations when business necessity requires.
