Part-Time Teller - Opening Shift (132nd & Pacific)
About The Position
Centris Federal Credit Union is hiring a part-time Teller at its Headquarters Branch at 132nd & Pacific Street. The role supports the credit union’s mission to be a trusted lifelong financial partner by processing member transactions efficiently and accurately and promoting credit union products and services. The Teller builds relationships with internal and external members, identifies member needs, and recommends or sells appropriate products and services. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., with rotating Saturdays from 8:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. When scheduled to work a Saturday, the Teller receives another day off during the week. Starting pay is $16–$18 per hour. The position requires a professional image, regular and punctual attendance, and the ability to work the hours needed to fulfill its responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent, or currently working toward one.
- One year of customer service experience.
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with members, staff, and other business contacts.
- Ability to access and interpret computer screens, documents, and reports.
- Ability to operate general office equipment.
- Ability to accurately enter data at 120 keystrokes per minute.
- Ability to accurately key numbers at 100 keystrokes per minute.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for more than two hours without sitting.
- Regular and punctual attendance and ability to work the hours necessary to fulfill the position’s responsibilities.
- Knowledge of BSA and applicable state and federal credit union compliance requirements.
- Ability to present a professional image.
- Must be bondable.
Responsibilities

- Provide service to internal and external members in accordance with Centris service promises.
- Create and develop relationships with internal and external members.
- Identify external members’ needs and recommend and sell appropriate products or services.
- Perform transactions efficiently and accurately to support financial success for members and the credit union.
- Maintain product, industry, and regulatory knowledge.
- Contribute to corporate performance and profitability and meet individual sales performance expectations.
- Complete timely and accurate transactions.
