About The Position

The Teller assists Centris Federal Credit Union in its mission to be a trusted, lifelong financial partner. The position processes member transactions efficiently and accurately while promoting credit union products and services. Tellers provide service to internal and external members, build relationships, identify member needs, and recommend appropriate products or services.

The position is part-time at the Headquarters Branch at 132nd and Pacific Street. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with rotating Saturdays from 8:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. When working a Saturday, the employee has another weekday off. Starting pay is $16–$18 per hour.

Requirements

• Have a high school degree or equivalent, or be working toward one.
• Have one year of customer service experience.
• Work effectively independently and in a team environment.
• Communicate effectively with members, staff, and other business contacts.
• Effectively access and interpret computer screens, documents, and reports.
• Operate general office equipment.
• Accurately enter data at 120 keystrokes per minute and key numbers at 100 keystrokes per minute.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for more than two hours without sitting.
• Report to work regularly and on time and work the hours necessary to fulfill the position’s responsibilities.
• Be knowledgeable about applicable BSA and compliance requirements enforced on the credit union by state and federal law.
• Present a professional image and be bondable.

• Promote and model Centris’s vision, mission, values, and team principles.
• Provide service to internal and external members in accordance with Centris Service Promises.
• Create and develop relationships with internal and external members.
• Identify external members’ needs and recommend and sell appropriate products or services.
• Perform transactions efficiently and accurately to promote financial success for members and the credit union.
• Maintain product, industry, and regulatory knowledge and contribute to corporate performance and profitability.
• Meet individual sales performance expectations and ensure timely, accurate transactions.
