About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller for its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, processing transactions accurately and delivering a welcoming, reliable experience. The Teller serves as a primary point of contact and represents the branch through attentive service, accuracy, and care. The role involves learning about customer needs and introducing relevant products, services, and digital tools, as well as connecting customers with a banker for more detailed product discussions. The Teller works with branch teammates to support daily operations and provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo describes the position as an entry point into retail banking, with training, coaching, and opportunities for career growth. The schedule includes Saturdays. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and direct them to efficient banking options such as digital tools, self-service options, or an appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships through active listening and connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, using sound judgment and managing risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, clarify customer needs, and provide straightforward solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
