About The Position

As a part-time Teller in PNC's Retail Branch organization, the employee will be based at the Heights Branch in Houston, Texas. The role delivers customer experiences intended to improve customers' financial wellbeing and build loyalty while increasing their use of PNC services. The Teller processes customer interactions, explains available options for financial transactions, identifies banking opportunities, and makes referrals to branch staff as appropriate. The position is in-office. PNC does not provide employment visa sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Requirements

• Prior experience is not required.
• No degree, certification, or license is required.
• Demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role.
• Relevant competencies include accuracy and attention to detail, addressing customer needs, banking products, digital awareness, effective communication, fraud detection and prevention, managing multiple priorities, matrix management, problem solving, and understanding customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer experiences that support financial wellbeing and customer loyalty.
• Process a variety of customer interactions and educate customers about alternatives for financial interactions.
• Identify banking opportunities and make appropriate referrals to branch staff.
• Engage with customers in the lobby and position PNC products to meet their needs.
• Educate customers on managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources.
• Apply product and procedural knowledge to resolve customer problems.
• Follow policies and procedures and exercise sound judgment within established limits.
• Complete teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Manage risk associated with business objectives and activities in accordance with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
