About The Position

The Teller/Member Service Representative creates a positive first impression and establishes strong member relationships, processes member transactions, assists members with account maintenance and problem resolution, uncovers member needs while opening new accounts, and educates members on credit union products and services.

Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible availability, including rotating Saturdays
• Working knowledge of computers and ten-key data entry skills required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of similar or related experience is a plus
• Previous cash handling or teller experience is preferred
• Knowledge of credit union products and services is a plus
• Flexible availability, which will include Saturdays
• Passionate about member/customer service

Responsibilities

• Promoting and upholding the Fox Mission, Purpose, Vision, and Values
• Processing basic and advanced member transactions and account maintenance confidentially, accurately, and efficiently, and assisting members with problem resolution including: CD maintenance, Sub accounts, Member disputes, Fraudulent transactions, Credit report reviews, New account maintenance, IRAs and HSAs
• Opening new accounts with knowledge of account ownership, authorized signers, and supporting documentation required for all accounts, including business, trust, estate, guardianship, custodial, hardship, and representative payee accounts
• Asking probing questions to identify member needs, educate members on financial services, cross sell credit union products and services, and direct members to other credit union representatives when appropriate
