Telemetry Monitor Tech Unit Clerk Full Time Night Shift
About The Position
Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Telemetry Monitor Tech/Unit Clerk for the night shift at Vibra Hospital of Denver in Thornton, Colorado. The hospital is a 54-bed critical care hospital providing acute care to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, including medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. It offers a fast-paced, friendly environment where staff can get to know patients and their families. The role is responsible for continually monitoring telemetry units and promptly alerting appropriate personnel to significant changes in readings. The scheduled shifts are Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous telemetry monitoring experience and/or equivalent education in telemetry monitoring and reading.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Nice To Haves
- One year of healthcare experience.
- Completion of a Medical Terminology course.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
