About The Position

The Telehealth Coordinator manages and supports the delivery of virtual healthcare services, ensuring efficient, high-quality care through telehealth platforms. This role serves as a liaison between patients, providers, and administrative teams, facilitating smooth telehealth operations, technology troubleshooting, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Nursing, Health Information Management, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in telehealth, healthcare operations, or clinical coordination preferred.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and scheduling software.
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy regulations, and telehealth compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and guide patients/providers effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to coordinate multiple appointments.
  • Customer-service oriented with the ability to support diverse patient populations.
  • Attention to detail for accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Provides a positive and professional representation of CFG Health Systems, LLC.
  • Promotes a culture of safety for patients and employees through proper identification, reporting, documentation, and prevention.

  • Adheres to infection control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement activities.
  • Completes required orientation as directed by the facility.
  • Follows facility and OSHA safety rules and procedures while on assignment.
  • Follows facility and CFG Health Systems Occurrence Protocol.
  • Upholds HIPAA and PREA regulations.
  • Punctual and dependable for assigned/confirmed shifts.
  • Maintains security clearance for the assigned facility.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule telehealth appointments for patients and providers.
  • Support patients and providers in accessing and using telehealth platforms, including troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Ensure telehealth sessions are conducted in compliance with HIPAA, privacy regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of telehealth visits, including documentation, billing, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to streamline telehealth workflows and optimize patient experience.
  • Train staff and providers on telehealth best practices, platform updates, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor telehealth metrics, including utilization, patient satisfaction, and technical performance, and report findings to leadership.
  • Assist in implementing telehealth policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with telehealth technology, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
