About The Position

The Telehealth Coordinator is responsible for scheduling Telehealth clinicians and providers and providing support for Telehealth services for Telecare programs, including coordination of third-party coverage when needed. This is a temporary position to cover a leave of absence, anticipated to last 6 months. The role requires remote work but mandates that the employee resides within the Pacific Standard Time zone.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years’ experience in medical and clinical staffing coordination, or four (4) years’ experience in medical and clinical staffing coordination.
Experience in multifacility organizations is preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of patient scheduling systems and billing systems.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Demonstrated ability to shift priorities quickly and unexpectedly.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff and individuals at all levels.
Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and proper transfer of PHI.
Must live in Pacific Standard Time zone.
All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification.
If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment.
