About The Position

The Telepsychiatry Coordinator is responsible for scheduling Telehealth prescribers and providing support for Telepsychiatry services for Telecare programs, including coordination of third-party coverage when needed. This is a temporary position expected to last 6 months to cover a leave of absence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years’ experience in medical and clinical staffing coordination, or four (4) years’ experience in medical and clinical staffing coordination
• Demonstrated knowledge of patient scheduling systems and billing systems
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Demonstrated ability to shift priorities quickly and unexpectedly
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff and individuals at all levels
• Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and proper transfer of PHI
• All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional regulatory, contractual, or local requirements may apply.
