About The Position

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a Telehealth Care Coordinator to join their WellNow Virtual Care team. This is a fully remote role that supports the department by processing patient registration records to ensure all needed patient information is correctly inputted and captured in their electronic medical records (EMR) system. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year experience with data entry or medical billing, preferably with a healthcare EMR
• Customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient records for accuracy and completion, and manually transcribe patient data into various EMR systems as required
• Research medical, demographic, and financial elements of patient data to close a patient record efficiently and accurately
• Maintain accurate and organized files, following established policies and procedures
• Identify trends and issues, advise leadership when additional support may be needed
• Complete daily work logs as assigned, proactively communicate results and status
• Demonstrate strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Maintain HIPAA compliance
