In technology strategy at PwC, you will specialise in developing and implementing strategic plans to leverage technology for business growth and innovation. You will analyse market trends, assess organisational needs, and provide guidance on technology investments and initiatives. Working in this area, you will collaborate with stakeholders to align technology strategies with overall business objectives to increase utilisation of technology resources, driving competitive advantage. Meaningful work you’ll be part of As an Associate, Technology Strategy, Consulting, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, either from consulting & professional services or in an industry role
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical background or business (computer science, software engineer and/or management)
  • Strong communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Understanding around the end-to-end value chain of IT applications and infrastructure, including relevant cloud solution offerings e.g. SaaS, IaaS and PaaS
  • Experience advising on or developing product roadmaps, blueprints and implementation of roadmaps that align technology investments with critical business priorities.
  • Experience conducting maturity or needs assessments, identifying and prioritizing opportunities / projects, developing roadmaps and estimates, and building consensus
  • Experience advising on and/or developing technology and IT operating models, including governance models and processes
  • Knowledge of architecture, design and development of enterprise technology solutions, including information management, infrastructure and applications
  • An understanding of agile software development and implementation processes and tools
  • The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada

Nice To Haves

  • Scrum Master (and other agile certifications), PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, and other related technology certifications would be an asset

  • Prioritizing and handling multiple tasks, including researching and analyzing pertinent client, industry, and technical matters and utilizing problem-solving skills
