About The Position

As a senior member of Pax8’s internal Technology Services team, this role is dedicated to supporting the people of Pax8. The Technology Services Senior Engineer is responsible for the availability, security, scalability, and continuity of the internal systems our employees rely on every day. Operating within a high-performing IT team, this role shares accountability for outcomes, technical excellence, and employee experience across the business. Requirements

  • Subject matter expertise in enterprise systems engineering, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and access governance frameworks.
  • Deep experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including identity lifecycle management, access governance, and enterprise application integrations.
  • Strong experience designing and maintaining automated provisioning and deprovisioning pipelines.
  • Advanced knowledge of RBAC and ABAC access models and enforcement of least-privilege strategies.
  • Strong automation background, including: Infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions, Workflow automation platforms such as n8n or similar orchestration tools, Scripted and API-driven integrations across SaaS platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft Partner Center, including tenant relationships, role assignments, identity configuration, and access delegation.
  • Familiarity with modern productivity and automation tooling (e.g., Cursor, Power Platform) to accelerate delivery.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud-based and automated environments.
  • Experience collaborating with Architecture and Governance teams to translate strategy into practical engineering solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and leadership audiences.
  • Must hold valid right to work in USA.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Snow automation and Workday integrations is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnoses high-severity and nonstandard technical issues, resolving incidents in alignment with established Service Level Objectives (SLOs). Act as a senior escalation consultant for Level I, II, and III engineers and leads resolution of cross-system or enterprise-wide incidents.
  • Design, deploy, maintain, and document enterprise IT systems, integrations, and automation workflows. Lead the technical execution of large or complex projects, including architecture, security, automation, and operational readiness.
  • Establish and enforce standards for system availability, continuity, security, and automation reliability, including monitoring, alerting, backups, patching, access controls, and workflow resiliency.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for critical incidents, applying sound judgment to assess urgency, impact, and risk while identifying opportunities to improve incident response through automation and tooling enhancements.
  • Design and implement infrastructure as code, workflow automation, and CI/CD pipelines to improve reliability and scalability.
  • Build and maintain event-driven and API-based automation across identity platforms, SaaS applications, and enterprise systems.
  • Leverage tools such as low-code/no-code platforms, custom scripts, and AI-enabled workflows to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
  • Establish automation standards and reusable patterns, driving adoption across Technology Services.
  • Author and maintain advanced technical documentation, SOPs, integration diagrams, and automation artifacts. Ensures documentation supports operational sustainability and audit readiness.
  • Drive continuous learning and mentor engineers by sharing automation patterns, integration strategies, and real-world implementation experience. Provides technical leadership for roadmap planning, audits, compliance reviews, and governance initiatives.
