Requirements
- B.S. degree in technical field, preferably Chemical Engineering
- 10 years minimum Process Safety experience in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Chemical manufacturing processes & plant operations, fundamental engineering & chemistry principles, EHS standards, business & financial principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fundamental understanding of engineering and chemistry principles; technical resource for plants
- Data analysis, troubleshooting, problem solving and statistics, ability to reach conclusions
- Strong leadership skills; ability to build consensus and influence others; results oriented
- Planning and decision making
- High ethical, safety, quality and environmental standards
Nice To Haves
- TUV Functional Safety Certification would be a value add.
Responsibilities
- Perform Risk Assessments for CapEx Projects and targeted processes.
- Develop standards and procedures to support the Corporate and Engineering Process Safety Road Map.
- Provide Process Safety technical support to CapEx Project teams.
- Conduct Process Safety audits with EHS.
- Provide training to CapEx teams.
- Maintain and upgrade ARA software for Hazard Review.
