About The Position

The Senior Technology Operations role leads the planning, monitoring, and execution of medium-complexity technology programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. This position requires expertise in risk assessment, resource estimation, and financial management to drive successful project delivery. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders through clear communication, and applying deep business and technology knowledge to develop effective solutions. The incumbent supports continuous improvement by leveraging data-driven insights and fosters collaboration to maintain program health and achieve operational excellence within a dynamic technology environment. Our team collaborates across Engineering, Analytics, Product, Business, and Operations to deliver complex data engineering and visualization projects. We emphasize structured planning, clear communication, and accountability in managing priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery. Focused on practical problem-solving and continuous improvement, the team ensures reliable business outcomes at scale. Members engage in cross-functional coordination and stakeholder communication to drive project success. Strong skills in communication and project management support our efforts to maintain clarity and efficiency throughout all phases of program execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience independently leading complex, cross-functional technical projects from planning through delivery.
  • Experience managing technical dependencies, delivery risks, and stakeholder alignment for data engineering or analytics initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role in software development or data engineering initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for building strong relationships across teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage ambiguity, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 3 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • Option 2: 5 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.

  • Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 2 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead program estimation and resource planning for projects of small to medium complexity, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and control program progress, addressing risks and issues to maintain schedule and budget adherence.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination meetings to review project health, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting data-driven insights and building consensus.
  • Manage financial aspects including budgeting and cost monitoring across multiple projects.
  • Translate business and technology requirements into actionable plans supporting overall technology strategy.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and adapting to organizational changes.
