About The Position

The Technology and Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our simulators and systems to ensure seamless guest experience while also overseeing the facilities team to maintain a high-functioning venue environment. Serving as an on-site expert, this role manages all technology-related challenges, vendor partnerships, and facility operations. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Director of Technology, the Technology and Facilities Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all venue technology and infrastructure. In addition to technical oversight, the Technology and Facilities Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the venue's overall functionality by supporting facility operations. This includes ensuring essential systems such as lighting, general maintenance, and other facility components are operating effectively to provide a safe and comfortable environment for both guests and team members. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong collaboration with internal teams, and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving challenges in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting. By combining technical expertise with facility management, the Technology and Facilities Manager contributes to the venue's overall success and delivers high-quality experience for all visitors.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years in technology management within guest-facing environments is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technology and facilities in high-pressure, live operational settings.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to team development and mentorship.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate F1 Arcade Core Values.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure simulators and systems operate efficiently by performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with engineers.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to maintain seamless system functionality and performance.
  • Oversee the upkeep of the venue's infrastructure, ensuring all facility systems, including lighting, HVAC, and general maintenance, are operating effectively.
  • Keep stakeholders informed with detailed technical and facility status updates and reports.
  • Conduct training sessions to equip team members with essential technical and facility-related knowledge.
  • Oversee stock levels, track equipment usage, and manage ordering for all technology and facility-related supplies.
  • Perform routine audits to uphold the integrity and reliability of all technology and facility systems.
  • Take ownership of creating and maintaining the schedule for the Technology and Facilities team, ensuring appropriate coverage and alignment with operational needs.
