About The Position

The 2027 Technology Development Program (TDP) – Cybersecurity (Insider Threat) is a two-year development program intended to build technical expertise in Cybersecurity. Participants gain hands-on experience supporting two Cybersecurity teams through rotations across multiple technical disciplines, while developing technical skills, business acumen, and a foundation for a long-term Cybersecurity career. The Insider Threat team helps protect M&T's sensitive data, systems, and information assets by identifying, preventing, and investigating potential insider risks. It works to reduce negligent, accidental, or malicious activities that could compromise the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of critical systems and data. Through monitoring, investigations, data protection controls, and collaboration with partners across the Bank, the team safeguards sensitive information and strengthens M&T's cybersecurity posture. The program is a rotational training program for individuals with a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. It offers flexibility to shape the participant's career and expand career objectives through career planning, technical and competency-based training, mentorship, and challenging assessments. A post-program assignment in a core area is determined through career path design, performance, assessment, and interest.
