About The Position

Pariveda is a North American-based, employee-owned professional services firm providing strategy and technology services across industries. Pariveda is growing in New York City and seeks an experienced Manager to join its leadership team. The role combines technology consulting, client relationship management, project delivery, team leadership, mentoring, and contributions to company growth and culture. The Manager oversees small teams and multiple client relationships across industries, diagnoses complex technical and business problems, and leads the design and delivery of technology solutions. The work can span custom web and mobile development, Azure and AWS cloud solutions, IT strategy, change and program management, data-driven solutions, IoT, machine learning, and DevOps CI/CD. The Manager applies design principles and frameworks across the software development lifecycle, from estimation and planning through architecture, development, testing, risk management, change control, and delivery. The role also calls for strategic, responsible use of AI in client solutions. The Manager communicates with audiences ranging from delivery teams to senior stakeholders, develops team members through coaching and reviews, and contributes to recruiting and professional networking. The position works within a hybrid model, alternating between home and office. Requirements

At least 5 years of professional experience and a strong foundation in application development.
Background in technical and/or management consulting.
Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, estimation, execution, issue and risk management, and resource management or allocation.
Experience architecting technical solutions to complex problems and delivering them to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience across all phases of the SDLC and with Agile software development practices.
Current project leadership experience with technical teams.
Enthusiasm for coaching and mentoring others in their career development.
Ability to build and manage relationships with clients, colleagues, vendors, and industry professionals and become a trusted advisor.
Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or comparable experience.
Legally authorized to work for any company in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Oversee small teams of Pariveda employees and manage relationships with multiple clients across industries.
Diagnose complex technical and business problems and implement creative solutions that meet client needs.
Manage project activities throughout the SDLC, including estimation, sprint planning, requirements gathering, architecture, development, testing, issue and risk management, change control, and delivery.
Lead the development and delivery of IT solutions across technologies such as custom web and mobile development, Azure and AWS cloud solutions, IT strategy, change and program management, data-driven solutions, IoT, machine learning, and DevOps CI/CD.
Use AI strategically to enhance client solutions, streamline development, uncover insights, and accelerate delivery while articulating responsible and ethical AI practices with clients and stakeholders.
Deliver presentations and facilitate meetings, adapting communication to different audiences, including senior stakeholders.
Identify team members’ career-development needs and strengths and create development opportunities.
Mentor junior colleagues by setting career-development goals, meeting regularly, writing and delivering semi-annual reviews, and advocating for career advancement.
Support company growth by building and maintaining a professional network and contributing to recruitment.
