About The Position

The Summer Technology Assistant completes routine summer maintenance and assists with large scale projects. This includes cleaning, moving, and upgrading computers; collecting and servicing mobile devices; assisting the technology team with other duties as assigned. This position will require travel as needed to all locations within the school system. In addition, this position will require a flexible schedule with the possibility of working some nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Basic technical knowledge of desktop/laptop components and operating systems
• Ability to clean/work with computers, Chromebooks, iPads, phones and projectors
• Ability to work in a team environment; be a team player
• Excellent organizational skills; high level of attention to detail
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to find an answer when it is not immediately obvious
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends
• Ability to travel as needed to/from both ES and IN campuses

Responsibilities

• Clean and repair computers, phones, and projectors for entire school system (ES, IN & SW)
• Clean all student Chromebooks for entire school system (ES, IN & SW)
• Assist the technology team with large scale projects
• All other duties as assigned
