About The Position

Citi’s Summer Technology Analyst Program offers training, on-the-desk learning, speaker sessions, networking, and cohort-based development. Starting in early June, the program introduces analysts to the role and Citi’s culture, tools, and processes. Summer Analysts may return to Citi after graduation as full-time analysts. Analysts work in an agile software development environment to develop quality, scalable software solutions using leading-edge technologies. They write code based on business requirements and quality standards, support testing cycles and post-production deployment, use tools to test and debug code, and participate in peer code reviews. Depending on team placement, work may involve back-end development (Java, Python, Spring Framework), front-end web or mobile development (React, TypeScript, Angular, HTML5, Swift, Kotlin), generative AI and AI agents, or data analytics tools such as Splunk, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics. The program provides exposure to globally scoped projects and cross-functional teams, structured learning, networking, mentoring, and development programs. Analysts contribute to real-world projects involving digital banking, cybersecurity, and data-powered innovation.
