About The Position

Revere Health is seeking a Technologist Assistant to support patient care and daily operations in imaging. The position is an opportunity to learn about Radiology and gain experience in the medical field. The assistant must be able to multitask while maintaining positive patient and staff relations and providing outstanding customer service. The position is located at Revere Health’s Provo and American Fork locations.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Facilitate quality patient care by interviewing patients, recording medical histories, confirming the purpose of visits, and explaining examinations.
• Prepare patients for examinations by performing preliminary physical tests.
• Assist with office procedures and learn to start IVs and administer injections as requested.
• Review messages with physicians and respond as directed in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Keep examination rooms clean and ready for patients.
• Maintain supplies by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
• Adhere to clinic and professional standards, policies, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
