About The Position

The Technologist Assistant supports patients and imaging staff by helping patients feel prepared and informed before imaging exams. The role involves verifying patient information, reviewing the reason for the visit, and explaining exams so patients know what to expect. It also supports patient flow through patient preparation, exam-room readiness, and supply stocking, while helping maintain a safe and organized clinic environment. The position is based in Provo, Utah, with rotation to American Fork and Salem. The schedule is weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., four days per week.

Requirements

Strong computer, telephone, and communication skills.
Strong customer service, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently while remaining calm and productive.

Ability to work well with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

Verify patient information and review the reason for the visit.
Explain imaging exams to patients so they know what to expect.
Prepare patients for examination.
Keep exam rooms clean and ready.
Ensure supplies are stocked and available.
Assist with office procedures.
Respond to physician messages as directed.
Follow established standards and procedures to support a safe, organized clinic environment.
Work with patients and staff in a courteous and attentive manner.
