About The Position

This role involves preparing client samples for analysis in our laboratories. Candidates must be able to periodically lift weights throughout the day.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 months (90 days) of experience in a commercial mineral laboratory.
- Good communication and manual skills.
- Familiarity with all safety rules for laboratories and sample preparation.
- Must be able to stand/sit for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (assistance from another employee/lifting equipment is mandatory if the weight exceeds 50 pounds).
- The environment can be dusty and very hot.
- Contact lenses are prohibited.
- Ability to process a regular quota per shift: 180 samples (3Kg) crushed, 230 pulverized 250g, 180 pulverized 850g.
- Quality-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Organize samples, verify shipping notices, and digitize sample weights independently.
- Perform special preparation procedures such as mixing, screening of metallic substances, and handling special requests.
- Conduct quality control checks on rejects and pulp.
- Assist in training and tutoring new employees on basic procedures.
- Inspect equipment and report any necessary adjustments to senior personnel.
- Apply products and methods correctly and in accordance with standards.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the director, assistant director, or supervisors.
