Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • AEC in wind turbine maintenance
  • Expertise related to wind turbine operations or maintenance
  • Any other experience deemed relevant to the position will be taken into account
  • Strong sense of responsibility, commitment to a job well done, and a safety-first attitude at all times
  • Resourcefulness and strong ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to perform manual or supervisory work outdoors despite harsh weather conditions
  • Ability to climb an 80-meter vertical ladder without assistance and perform work at height. The candidate must demonstrate their ability to climb a wind turbine within a reasonable time frame during the recruitment process
  • Availability to work overtime and be on call when required
  • Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Training in electromechanics or electricity will be considered and preferred
  • Good computer skills: relevant experience with SCADA systems and PLCs is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the proper functioning of wind turbines and identify any anomalies that may arise
  • Identify, locate, and repair defects with members of the operations and maintenance team
  • Plan and perform preventive maintenance, maintain maintenance and intervention records
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at all times
