About The Position

ProAmpac is a global leader in flexible packaging, providing creative and sustainable packaging solutions to customers across a range of industries. The company is seeking a proactive, full-time Ink Technician to help meet organizational goals by ensuring designated print materials and tools are accurately set up to meet or exceed customer expectations. The role is compensated at $21.60 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to four years of experience in a related field, including color matching, required.
• Ability to detect color required.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and protect private, confidential, and sensitive information.
• Exceptional time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and through presentations with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
• Proactive approach, sound judgment and decision-making, and ability to identify problems and needs and develop solutions or options.
• Self-confident, self-motivated, polished professional who can thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up ink to match specifications; match, formulate, and measure ink for designated orders, prioritizing as needed.
• Perform quality tests and checks.
• Troubleshoot ink issues.
• Maintain inventory to meet or exceed goals and targets.
• Update and maintain records, reports, samples, recipes, and blends.
• Work closely with the graphics department, operations, inventory, leadership, and product development.
• Maintain storage and work areas in accordance with protocols.
• Communicate effectively with others.
• Perform other duties as needed.
