About The Position

Bloom Energy is seeking an Ink Manufacturing Technician to support the manufacture of inks and pastes. The position is based in Fremont, California, is fully onsite, and reports to the Senior Manager, Ink Manufacturing. The technician safely handles chemicals and materials, operates printing and quality inspection equipment, helps maintain and set up manufacturing equipment, and supports efficient manufacturing procedures. The role also involves recording and reporting quality, inventory, and production data and maintaining an orderly work area.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in a science or engineering field, or an associate degree with two years of lab or manufacturing experience.
• Experience safely handling chemicals and materials, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with quality assurance equipment such as viscometers and balances.
• Strong computer skills; Microsoft Excel is required.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot chemical lab equipment.
• Ability to complete tasks accurately and on time with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle chemicals and materials.
• Manufacture various inks and pastes.
• Use printing machines as needed.
• Operate quality inspection equipment.
• Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and low-level maintenance.
• Assist in developing manufacturing procedures to create efficient processes.
• Record, maintain, and report quality, inventory, and production data.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervision.
