About The Position
ProAmpac is hiring an Ink Technician to prepare and manage inks for designated orders in a manufacturing environment. The role involves matching, formulating, and measuring ink to specifications, troubleshooting ink issues, performing quality checks, maintaining records and inventory, and assisting with hazardous waste management. The position works primarily indoors in a manufacturing setting and requires an afternoon shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The posted pay range is $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to detect color required.
- Two to four years of experience in ink formulation or color matching.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Teams, Visio, or similar tools.

Responsibilities
- Set up ink to match specifications by matching, formulating, and measuring ink for designated orders, and troubleshoot ink issues while prioritizing as needed.
- Perform quality tests and checks; maintain records, reports, samples, and recipes or blends.
- Maintain inventory to meet or exceed goals and targets, and maintain storage and work areas according to protocols.
- Assist with hazardous waste management and record keeping.
