About The Position

Bloom Energy is seeking an Ink Manufacturing Technician to manufacture inks and pastes supporting its solid oxide fuel cell and solid oxide electrolyzer technologies. The role is based in Fremont, California, is fully on-site, and reports to the Senior Manager, Ink Manufacturing. The technician safely handles chemicals and materials, operates printing and quality inspection equipment, performs equipment setup, changeovers, and low-level maintenance, and supports efficient manufacturing processes. The role also involves maintaining production, quality, and inventory records and keeping the work area clean and orderly.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Science or Engineering, or an Associate degree with 2 years of laboratory or manufacturing experience.
• Experience safely handling chemicals and materials; manufacturing-environment experience is preferred.
• Experience with quality assurance equipment such as viscometers and balances.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
• Able to troubleshoot chemical laboratory equipment.
• Able to complete tasks accurately and on time with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle chemicals and materials.

• Assist in developing manufacturing procedures to create efficient processes.
