About The Position
The Technician II position is part of the Purified Value Stream at Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role is onsite and works Monday through Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The technician performs manufacturing tasks that transform raw materials into final products, operates laboratory instruments according to work instructions, and supports daily management and data-driven problem solving.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Life science work experience.
- 12 months of laboratory experience.
- Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products, including decontamination, product transfer, and maintenance connection software.
- Operate laboratory instruments needed to complete tasks, following work instructions and company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to customer-specific and general work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support daily management by assessing issues, using data to drive problem solving, and suggesting countermeasures.
