About The Position

UCT is seeking a Technician II to join its Austin team. The role assembles electronic and mechanical components into machines according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions. It also conducts functional and leak testing, identifies errors, performs rework when required, and assists engineers with problem-solving and troubleshooting. The position is performed in a cleanroom and requires following cleanroom protocols, the 5S concept, and manufacturing discipline. The technician must be able to read technical drawings and commit to the designated shift pattern and overtime if required.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or engineering.
• Ability to comprehend electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom while wearing jumpsuits, a safety helmet, and safety shoes.
• Willingness to commit to the shift pattern and work overtime if required.
• NITEC, Higher NITEC, a Professional Certificate, or equivalent; alternatively, a diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Engineering.

Responsibilities
