The Technician I, Facilities Engineering Technical Support (Science/Tech/Engineering Path) is primarily responsible for handling technical tasks related to the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and facilities. You will Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance by troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing components on facilities equipment. Specifics Include: Handle technical tasks related to the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and facilities Assist in planning, budgeting, and scheduling facility modifications, including cost estimates for equipment, labor, and materials Coordinate building space allocation, layout, communication services, and facilities expansion while ensuring health and safety standards Support contract and contractor management and engage with insurance providers for risk reduction projects like fire prevention Apply scientific and engineering principles to solve problems and support operations Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring quality control, and completing required training Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance, meeting individual job requirements and contributing to organizational compliance Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance by troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing components on facilities equipment Performing basic repairs, preventive maintenance, and inspections under supervision Learning to maintain the DI water systems, compressed air systems, HVAC systems, CE environmental controls
