Technician (conversion)
About The Position
Responsible for General Maintenance of Production equipment and facilities. Perform mechanical, electrical and pneumatically hydraulically, repairs on all production equipment. Trouble shoot mechanical, electrical and pneumatic problems. Fill out necessary documentation to comply with specifications and SOP'S. Perform preventive maintenance work according to established standards. Fill out preventive maintenance reports. Responsible for equipment and tools. Must keep work area in the most clean and orderly conditions. Conform to Baxter GMP and Safety regulations. Capable of understanding schematics and blueprints. Self-starter and capable of working with minimum supervision. Capable to perform calibration of equipment. Must repair and provide maintenance to equipment by utilization sophisticate testing equipment, manuals, manufacturer show instruction, etc. Participate on duties and activities during shut down period. Actively report health and safety hazards, environmental aspects, incidents, and EHS management system risks and opportunities. Participate in the development, planning, implementation, performance evaluation and actions for continuous improvement of the EHS Management System.
Requirements
- Associated degree in Electronic or Industrial Mechanic or BA preferred.
- Zero to 3 years of related work experience.
- Knowledgeable of Injection Molding machines and auxiliary equipment
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
