About The Position

Cemex US is seeking a responsible and skilled Technician Block Production employee to support its block production operations. The position involves continuous handling of concrete blocks weighing an average of 50 pounds and requires strength, endurance, and a strong physical presence. The employee will work in outdoor industrial settings and other varying conditions, follow safety protocols, communicate effectively, and adapt to operational duties that may include operator, cuber, and forklift work.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle concrete blocks averaging 50 pounds.
Ability to wear protective equipment and adhere to safety protocols.

Nice To Haves

Prior forklift operation experience is highly desirable.
Background in electrical work, welding, and fabrication is advantageous.
Mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

Perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, stooping, sweeping, and shoveling.
Use tools and equipment with dexterity and precision.
