About The Position
Eastern Lift Truck Co. is seeking a Technician Apprentice to support its Baltimore location. This entry-level position provides training in the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of material handling equipment, including forklifts, aerial lifts, and pallet trucks. Apprentices are guided by a mentor through a formal 6–9-month training program that includes classroom modules and hands-on shop training. The program also covers safety standards and customer interaction, preparing apprentices for a career as a Field Service Technician.
Requirements
- Some mechanical experience.
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Ability to learn quickly and follow directions.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent work ethic.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Learn to perform routine maintenance, diagnose, and repair material handling equipment, including forklifts, aerial lifts, and pallet trucks.
- Complete required training certifications.
- Assist mechanics.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
