About The Position

Caliber Collision is hiring a Technician Apprentice Program (TAP) – Body Apprentice for its Greenville Service Center. The apprentice performs general duties that may include repairing damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition using industry-approved techniques. The role involves learning program training materials and hands-on skills while following a mentor’s direction. Apprentices learn to read estimates, identify damage, repair vehicles, and check work for quality and accuracy. No previous experience is required. The program provides paid training and may lead to a body technician career after graduation.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Be able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Be able to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous collision experience.
• Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Repair damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition using industry-approved repair techniques.
• Learn all required training material and hands-on skills.
• Follow the mentor’s direction while learning to read estimates, identify damage, repair vehicles, and check work for quality and accuracy.
• Complete required TAP training and certifications.
