About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Technician is responsible for answering customers inquiries about the billing, post and reconcile cash receipts, collecting unpaid accounts and providing excellent Customer Service.

Requirements

  • Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Accounting, Finance, Management or equivalent
  • Minimun of six (6) months experience in a similar role
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Perfectly bilingual in English and French
  • Demonstrate organization, rigor and autonomy
  • Excellent communication/analytical skills
  • Ability to work according to priorities and ability to solve problems
  • Good teamwork skills
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer requests regarding their invoice, payment or reimbursement
  • Answer questions related to invoices for the travel agent, internal group agents and staff
  • Process refunds requested from customers by phone or email
  • Contact customers for payment collection on all due invoices in a professional manner
  • Take steps to help collect payment on time
  • Provide superior customer service while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Execute daily deposits of receipts and bank preparation in the accounting system
  • Investigate off-balance customer accounts and take action to properly adjust
  • Follow-up of uncollected payments due to credit card failures
  • Application of promos and issuance of commission if necessary
  • Send the account statement to customers
  • Any other related task
