About The Position

Maintains and repairs the machinery within the department in order to reduce downtime and ensure the smooth flow of materials in the warehouse and through connecting departments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 to 5 years of experience working with electronic controls in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas: Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas: Technical, mechanical, and programming skills
  • Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas: Communications, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas: Ability to work and function in a team environment
  • Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas: Ability to operator all PIV equipment including scissor lift
  • Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas: Ability to read and interpret equipment schematic drawings

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AMR’s is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Sets up, repairs, and troubleshoots machinery and electronic controls.
  • Troubleshoot and correct conveyance issues to improve equipment performance and part flow.
  • Maintain the proper inventory level on spare parts and materials.
  • Move in-process materials, as needed.
  • Keep flow of materials through department and connecting department running smoothly.
  • Maintains a log of machine repairs.
  • Follows all prescribed safety practices.
  • Works with various chemicals, as required, using prescribed safety equipment.
  • Implement improvements related to equipment performance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
