About The Position

Training Detachments (TRADET) are responsible for managing and conducting training during the customers Inter-deployment Training Cycle (IDTC). Support personnel are required to acquire and maintain basic operational skills, which enable them to complete and survive their missions on the water and over land under duress in high threat environments throughout the world’s greater littoral and riverine areas of operations. The individual will assist in the design, development, management, and modernization of existing and next generation operational and organizational structural doctrine designed to synchronize capability. The contractor will work closely with subject matter experts throughout military, industry, and academia to document tactics, techniques, procedures, standard operating procedures, define organizational/institutional training structure/processes, and best practices. The role is expected to actively participate in training working groups and manage a training doctrine library that supports O5 level operational commands. This position requires the utilization of analytical, planning, organizational coordination, negotiation, and directing skills to ensure requirements are satisfied. The role will involve utilizing Joint SOF Operational and Strategic Operations, full spectrum NTTP, TTP, SOP, Tactical Memorandum, and best practices design and development. The Technical Writer will develop, prepare, staff, and publish administrative documents and reports, and develop and refine SWCC training and readiness policy/doctrine. Responsibilities include conducting research on the current world situation and analysis of training manuals, lessons learned, and tactics, techniques, & procedures (TTPs).

Requirements

  • Possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Active SECRET Security Clearance.
  • Prior military experience preferred.
  • If applicants are previous military personnel, they shall have received an honorable discharge from military service and have never lost applied specialization during military career.
  • Five (5) years’ minimum experience within the last ten (10) years in an administrative writing position including doctrine design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with technical writing background.

Responsibilities
