About The Position

Join Revology Cars as a Technical Writer. At Revology Cars, we combine modern engineering with classic American muscle to produce world-class, reproduction Mustangs. We are looking for a Technical Writer to help us grow the team and keep our operations running smoothly. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Writer to support cross-training and documentation development across our production teams. This role will collaborate closely with engineers, quality personnel, and managers to create and maintain clear, accurate work instructions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in various production areas-especially upholstery, chassis, final assembly and PDL-and will help ensure that our documentation supports our focus on delivering a high-quality product.

Requirements

  • Experience working in multiple stations within the production environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SmartSheet, and SharePoint.
  • Strong writing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and team player with a willingness to learn new tools and processes.
  • Ability to handle multiple documentation projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and maintain detailed work instructions for production processes, especially in later-stage operations (e.g., upholstery, chassis, final trim, PDL).
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality teams, MEQ (Manufacturing Engineering Quality), and production staff to gather technical input and validate processes.
  • Update and revise documentation within APMs (Assembly Process Manual) to reflect best practices and process changes.
  • Ensure documentation supports quality, safety, compliance, and training initiatives.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SmartSheet, and SharePoint for drafting, managing, and publishing documentation.
  • Participate in quality reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production standards and clarity of instruction.
