Technical Training Professional - Civil Construction
About The Position
Trimble is hiring a Training Specialist for its AECO segment to deliver specialized software training for heavy civil construction customers using the B2W unified operational database and Trimble ONE Platform. The role supports digital transformation by helping contractor teams adopt the platform and use it to improve the safety, speed, and sustainability of their work. The Training Specialist delivers interactive online and on-location training, provides individual virtual coaching, and conducts hands-on site visits. The position also develops training curricula, computer-based training materials, and instructional videos; presents at the annual User Conference; uses AI tools to enhance training and solve client problems; and shares client feedback and industry trends with product development teams. The role is based in-office in Portsmouth, New Hampshire; Alpharetta, Georgia; Westminster, Colorado; or Lake Oswego, Oregon. Travel within the United States and Canada is required, up to 25%.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience delivering software or technical training to diverse professional audiences.
- Ability to explain complex technical information clearly and make it actionable for construction stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage one-on-one virtual classroom dynamics and group presentations.
- Self-motivation and ability to manage rigorous travel logistics and independent project schedules.
- Valid passport and driver's license for travel to Canada and throughout the United States.

- Direct experience in heavy civil construction or the AECO industries.
- Familiarity with estimating, scheduling, or equipment maintenance software workflows.
- Advanced proficiency with AI-driven educational technologies or video content creation.
- Civil construction experience.
