Technical Trainer II, EHS Safety (Memphis)

SpaceX•Memphis, TN
•Onsite

About The Position

The Technical Trainer, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), trains and certifies SpaceX personnel at the Memphis site in safety, equipment use, and technical work. The role delivers high-risk and operational safety training, keeps courses current as processes and documents change, and partners with EHS and shop-floor teams as the site moves from construction into production. This position reports to the Technical Training Manager. The trainer delivers instructor-led and online training for employees and, as needed, contractors, vendors, and visitors. The role supports the learning management system, maintains accurate and audit-ready training records, coordinates safe and compliant instructional equipment and vendors, and develops and improves course materials and assessments. The trainer schedules classes to meet new-hire, recertification, construction, and project needs; delivers and audits training at the point of work; and partners across operational and technical functions to build required training. The position also supports the launch of Memphis safety training from construction mobilization through production and travels to other SpaceX sites as required. When incidents, quality escapes, or missed qualifications trace back to training, the trainer owns root-cause analysis, corrective action, and verification. The role may also support field assignments related to process, equipment, or facility modifications.

  • Able to work extended hours and weekends as needed to support production, construction, and site priorities.
  • Able to travel to other SpaceX sites as required.
